The implementation packages produced by iSTEEP contains products and professional development to assist districts to implement a research based method for RTI.  These packages support implementation of the STEEP standard protocol, which is a step-by-step method that guides teachers and administrators through the RTI process. The standard protocol helps professionals to increase the accuracy and efficiency of the RTI process and make decisions that are supported by research.

The tools included with this product are intervention manuals that describe the elementary and secondary mathematics and reading intervention process.  A brief diagnostic assessment process is also included that matches an appropriate intervention to each student.  Finally, this product includes professional development. This package includes e-learning which allows professionals to be trained in all phases of RTI utilizing online lessons, simulations and practice to acquire skill for scoring assessments, interpreting data, analyzing student results and formulating decisions about  progress monitoring data.    

The implementation packages comprise one of the two major types of products offered by iSTEEP with the other category being the various site licenses that provide assessment, data management and progress monitoring.  It is strongly recommended that you purchase the district site license when you purchase an implementation package.

In short, the implementation package is a comprehensive set of professional development tools. It is sold and licensed to individual professionals. One implementation package is needed for each professional to be trained. Professionals will be assigned an individual login that will give them access to e-learning coursework and downloadable manuals and other materials.
